The rules
The short version: it’s free, play safe, and the first person to find the envelope keeps the £100.
1. Who can play
You must be 18 or over to collect a drop. Under 18? You can still watch and follow along, but please don’t go looking for envelopes.
2. It’s free
Dash Drops is free to play. There is nothing to buy, no entry fee and no sign-up. Following our accounts or turning on alerts is optional and never affects your chances.
3. Finding a drop
- Each drop is one yellow Dash Drops envelope containing £100 in cash.
- When we announce a town, nothing is hidden yet. A drop is only live once our Instagram story shows where it is.
- The first person to pick up the envelope keeps it. One envelope, one winner.
- If you arrive and it’s gone, someone beat you to it. We can’t replace drops that have already been taken.
4. Filming
We film drop days, including the moment the envelope is found. By collecting a drop, you agree we can film you doing it.
- We’ll always ask before posting footage where you can be recognised. If you say no, we’ll blur you or leave you out.
- We blur anyone else who appears in our videos by accident.
- Want a video taken down? Email us and we’ll remove it.
5. Staying safe
- Never run into roads or cross railways, and stay away from water edges.
- Don’t climb walls, trees, fences or structures.
- Don’t go out searching alone at night. Tell someone where you’re going.
- Be careful of other people searching at the same time. Be patient and polite.
6. Respecting places
- We only hide drops in public places, or with the landowner’s permission.
- No trespassing, digging, moving or damaging anything.
- Leave every spot exactly as you found it, and take your litter home.
- Respect local residents, businesses and anyone else using the space.
7. Unclaimed drops
If nobody finds a drop before we leave, we collect the envelope and add the £100 to a future drop.
8. Scams and fake accounts
Our official Instagram is @dash_for_cash_uk, and our website is dashdrops.co.uk. Any new accounts we open will be listed here first. If you get a message from anyone else claiming to be us, please report it to the platform and don’t reply.
9. Fair play
Please don’t follow us while we hide drops, go looking for where we’re watching from, or take an envelope from someone who picked it up first. We may stop dropping in an area if people put others at risk.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these rules from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Questions? Email info@dashdrops.co.uk.
